CAP-XX cylindrical supercaps provide a cost-effective solution to the power performance limitations of low power batteries. They provide excellent pulse power characteristics resulting from the combination of very high capacitance and very low ESR. When used in conjunction with a low power energy source such as an energy harvester or low power battery, CAP-XX cylindrical supercaps enable extended backup time, longer battery life and peak power load shaving.
